  • Gamification Track – Using Games in Your Classroom

GameDev Track – Teaching Game Development[ | ]

Learn proven methods for teaching game development from professors at some of the best university game programs in the world, including the University of Southern California, Michigan State University, and the University of Utah.

Faculty with decades of experience will share the exercises, assignments, and other teaching strategies that they have found work best to introduce students to these game development topics.

Gamification Track – Using Games in Your Classroom[ | ]

Forward-looking educators with well-established track records for using game based learning and gamification strategies in their classroom will share their knowledge.

Learn how other educators have integrated table-top games, role playing games, escape rooms, and even gamified assessment into their curricula.

This track includes a two-hour Gamified Learning Workshop dedicated to both advice and plan building.

One Ticket - Attend Either Track, or Both!

The lecture content of the two tracks are staggered (Games in Your Classroom in the morning and Game Development in the afternoon), so you can choose to attend lectures for both tracks. Your ticket also includes admission to the Festival and NightGames!

You can purchase the Educator Summit Pass to attend, or get it as an add-on to the Festival Plus or Multi-Day Premium Passes to take part in even more of the Festival on Thursday and Friday.
